Following an in-depth discussion with our founder, François Wayenberg, JGI Board Member Els Martens shared the following declaration of intent regarding our initiative:

"Thank you for enlightening during our phone call just now your project for the World’s First Pet University, approaches, and research on understanding and fostering expression of thoughts and emotions of domesticated animals.

Through our youth empowerment and animal welfare actions, the Jane Goodall Institutes stimulate, educate, and inspire to show respect for all living species, and this starts indeed so often by learning to have respect and a compassionate attitude for the animal(s) one has at home."
